AI Analyst Chat
The AI Analyst is a conversational assistant that answers questions about your team's scrim data in natural language. Instead of digging through tabs to find the numbers you need, you can ask things like "how did we do on Ilios last week?" and get a grounded answer backed by rich, structured cards.
You can find the AI Analyst in the main navigation under Analyst, or go
directly to /chat.
Billing model
AI Chat is metered against your credit balance. Top up once, chat until the balance runs low, optionally auto-refill from your card on file. No subscription required. See Billing for top-up presets, auto-refill, and the transaction log. For current per-token rates, see the pricing page.
A small balance indicator sits above the chat input. If your balance drops below the minimum required to send a message, the input disables and points you to the top-up flow. Low-balance warnings and refund / top-up confirmations are delivered through your configured Discord notifications.
Starting a Conversation
When you open the Analyst for the first time, you'll see a conversation window with an input at the bottom. Four suggested starter prompts are shown to help you get going:
- "How did my team perform in our last scrim?"
- "Which maps do we have the best win rate on?"
- "What are our performance trends this month?"
- "Who had the most outlier stats recently?"
You can click one of these to send it immediately, or type your own question in the input. The AI works best with specific questions, include time windows, player names, or map names where relevant.
What the AI Can Do
The Analyst has access to a set of tools for pulling data from your team before it answers. These include:
- Scrim analysis: summarize a specific scrim or set of scrims.
- Map performance: per-map breakdowns of your team's results.
- Team trends: performance changes over a time window.
- Player performance: individual player stats, comparisons, and outliers.
- Report generation: produce a downloadable report for a scrim or time range.
Ask in natural language, for example, "who's been dropping off on support this month?" or "summarize our last three Ilios scrims", and the AI pulls the underlying data before writing a response.
The Response Format
Each AI response includes a written answer plus rich cards showing the structured data it referenced. Depending on the question, you may see:
- Scrim Analysis cards with match results and headline stats
- Map Performance breakdowns by map
- Team Trends visualizations over time
- Player Performance cards with per-player stats
- Reports that you can download for offline review
The cards make it easy to verify the numbers the AI is referencing and to dig deeper if you want more detail.
Interactions
A few controls let you refine and reuse responses:
- Edit your message: click the pencil icon on one of your messages to revise the question and regenerate the answer.
- Regenerate: click the regenerate button under the last AI response if you'd like a fresh take.
- Copy: copy any response to your clipboard.
Conversations are saved to a sidebar history so you can return to a previous thread later instead of starting over.
When to Use the Analyst
The Analyst is a good fit when you want a quick, grounded answer without manually digging through tabs, or as a starting point for a deeper review. It's also useful when you want to explore a loose hunch, "does anything stand out about our last few matches?", and let the AI surface the outliers for you.
Tips
- Be specific. Include time windows, player names, and map names where relevant.
- The AI can only reason about scrims it has access to, if a scrim isn't in your team's data, it can't include it.
- Responses are based on your team's data, so results improve as you upload more logs.
- Use the rich cards to verify the numbers before acting on a conclusion.
