Map Comparison
The Map Comparison tool puts your team's performance on two maps side-by-side. Use it when you're deciding which map to pick or ban against a specific opponent, or when you're figuring out which maps are worth practicing next.
Map Comparison is available to Premium subscribers. Look for it as a dedicated tab or card inside the Team Stats area.
How It Works
Pick any two maps and the tool lays their stats out next to each other, so you can see where you're stronger, where you're weaker, and where the gap is biggest. Instead of scrolling through the full Maps tab and eyeballing differences, Map Comparison does the side-by-side for you.
This is especially useful during veto prep, we're much stronger on Ilios than Busan
is a clearer conclusion when you can read both maps' numbers in the same view.
What Gets Compared
Map Comparison surfaces the stats that matter most for pick/ban decisions:
- Win rate on each map.
- Fight statistics: fight win rate, first pick rate, and first death rate.
- Objective control patterns where the game mode exposes them.
- Map-specific hero pools: which heroes your team actually plays on each map.
- Matchup favorability: how you perform against all opponents on each map.
How Coaches Use It
- Veto strategy: identify comparative strengths and bring a ranked veto list into the match, backed by numbers rather than gut.
- Practice planning: find the maps where your team has the biggest performance gap and prioritize practice there.
- Comp portability: compare hero pools across maps to see whether your map-specific comps are drifting apart or staying coherent.
